In Zenless Zone Zero, players will discover a series of unique characters with distinct characteristics, in a futuristic art setting. Combat system focuses on thrilling action, providing an engaging experience of overcoming obstacles and solving mysteries.

In addition to arcade games like Snake, Block puzzle, Zenless Zone Zero also provides puzzles and challenges, accompanying you and your character. As you progress, the game will expand with new obstacles and engaging minigames.

| Character stats

Each character in the game has an identity statistics, providing various functions in combat for players. These stats can be enhanced and customized through equipping different equipment.

It is important to clearly understand the function of each indicator. Here is an overview of the stats and their effects in matches:

HP (Blood)

The amount of damage an Agent can endure before being defeated in combat.

ATK (Cong)

The amount of damage the Agent deals to enemies.

DEF (Defense)

Reduced amount of damage received by the Agent.

Impact (Stun)

Attacking enemies will increase their stun. A higher Impact stat allows more stun to accumulate with each attack.

Crit Rate

Probability of an Agent performing a critical hit.

Critical Damage (Crit DMG)

Damage is multiplied when the Agent scores a critical hit.

Penetration (PEN)

Ignores a certain amount of target's defense based on Penetration when attacking an enemy.

Pen Ratio (Pen Ratio)

Ignores a percentage of the target's defense based on the Penetration Rate stat when attacking an enemy.

Attribute Mastery

Increases damage dealt by Attribute Effects.

Energy Regen

After entering combat, the Agent will automatically restore Energy every second. The higher the recovery stat, the more Energy recovered per second.

Energy Generation Rate

Energy Generation Rate will increase Energy generated through Energy recovery and attacking enemies.

Anomaly Rate Bonus

The Aberration Rate Bonus increases the amount of Aberrations caused by Attribute attacks. When the enemy's Aberration accumulation reaches a certain level, the Attribute Aberration Effect will be activated.

| Basic attack

• Press and hold the attack button to perform a sequence of attacks (3-5 attacks).
• Hold down the attack button while performing the sequence to unleash a special combo attack (with some characters).
• Deals reliable damage and restores mana.

| Special attack

• Use when you have energy to enter the EX skill variant state.
• Deals heavy damage when the enemy is stunned.
• 2 types:
  • Normal special attack:
    • Causes little damage, does not add energy, has little use value.
  • Enhanced EX Special Attack:
    • Causes high damage, prioritize use when available.

| Combo chain attack

• Activates when attacking a stunned (100% stunned) enemy with 2+ Agents.
• Launch by pressing the Agent avatar for a limited time.
• Deals high and fast damage when enemies are stunned.

| Ultimate blow

• Charge Decibel Rating by attacking, chaining, dodging, assisting.
• Use Ultimate when Decibel Rating reaches 3.000.
• Three-phase tracking indicates the Ultimate's level of readiness.

| Story

• Explore the main storyline, fight enemies and bosses.
• Includes side quests from NPCs.

| Hollows

• Main roguelike mode.
• Navigate random dungeons with a custom team.
• Get valuable rewards.
• Dynamic and difficult gameplay.

| Arcade mini game

• Change the tempo compared to the main modes.
