What are Buffs and Debuffs?

Buffs and Debuffs will appear a lot in battles. Although it seems a bit simple when in reality it is it's more complicated you think for a moment. Because maybe you are building a buff army that is over the limit or lacking debuffs.

To explain in simple terms, buffs are effects that help you increase stats like DEF, ATK, HP, knockback damage and more. And Debuffs are those bad effects that the opponent uses on your army, causing your army to reduce its strength or fall into bad statuses.

There will be 2 different types of Buffs, one is buff from military technology, alliance technology and treasures. Second, buffs come from power, general skills and natural talents. In the scope of this article, we will only talk about the second type of buff.

Maximum limit of Buffs and Debuffs

Take a look at the champion's Buff and Debuff summary table above. During the battle, you will only be able to receive more maximum 40% effect for all types of Buffs/Debuffs.

And a special thing is also how Buff/Debuff works in Call of Dragons: you Cannot stack a type of Buff/Debuff alike.

Suppose you use Kinnara in combination with Nico. When both of these champions apply the Break effect to the opponent, this Debuff will not stack. Whichever Debuff has the higher index will be counted for that Debuff, the Debuff duration will be refreshed.

In addition, you also need to pay attention to the general's talent. There will be some talents that do not work with Buffs/Debuffs from champion skills.
